After almost three wonderful weeks off, it was time to go back to work last Monday. That means that I won't be as prompt in updating this blog. However, I will try my best to keep you informed about Baby Chastain (due Feb. 20th) and our adventure in New York over President's Day Weekend. Below is a picture from our wonderful Christmas feast that I didn't put up.
Here is a look at our basement now, with the addition of a lovely Guinness Clock and a Killians Irish Red Dart Board. Dart tournament anyone?
Since school is in, I will be busy writing my thesis, coaching basketball, and training for the Nashville Half-Marathon. All that should keep me pretty busy until spring. Eric and I will be traveling to Nashville with our good friend Amy the last weekend in April to complete the 13.1 mile race. Oh wait, I should clarify that Eric is NOT running, but coming along to walk the course which passes a barbecue joint :-) Amy and I will be running the race, as we plan to every year since both our families live there. http://www.cmmarathon.com/home.html
My thesis is coming along and I hope you will all forgive me if I do not keep in touch much for the next few months. At least there is too much snow still on the ground to have disc golfers distract me from below while I am slaving away in Michner Library. At least they are serving Seattles Best in the library lobby...
Speaking of snow, will the two feet still on the ground and the 20 foot piles of brown snow ever melt? I'm starting to wonder. Cache has delicate paws so we have pulled out the cute booties to keep her warm. She just loves them so much!
That is all for now. I hope everyone has a great January, and remember to check out the new iPhone...the perfect gift for any techie/Mac junkie in your life! (hint hint)
